Holiday Toy Drive

Palm Desert Country Club Association is happy to announce that they are an official "Toy Drive" drop off location for The Narrow Door/The Christmas Store. If you are interested in helping with the Toy Drive, please stop by the Management Office and drop off an unwrapped new toy. We will accept toys through December 15, 2017.

The Christmas Store started 14 years ago with only a few families. This year they plan to serve about 600 families and over 2,000 children! They work with schools, social services and churches to identify families in need who could benefit from a trip to the Christmas Store. The site is set-up with the toys/gifts separated by age and gender and displayed in the rooms. Families in need throughout the Coachella Valley are given a special invitation with a specific date and time to Christmas shop for free. The entire family is encouraged to come and experience the Christmas Store. After the family is greeted, they are assigned a Personal Shopper and taken to the photo area for a special family photo. From there, the children are taken to the children's area where they do crafts, hang out and have fun while their parents go shopping. The parents are escorted by their Personal Shopper through the Store to choose gifts for each child. The gifts are then wrapped while the parents wait with their Personal Shopper. Once the packages are ready, their Personal Shopper and a Kitchen Helper, ready with a food box, escort the family out and help to load their car. View Flyer
